The Los Angeles County Animal Care Foundation’s goals are to raise funds and allocate these donations to support the Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care and Control in the following areas:

  • Rescuing animals from abandonment, abuse and neglect.
  • Providing a caring and nurturing environment in the animal care centers for lost or relinquished pets.
  • Subsidizing low-cost spay/neuter surgeries to reduce the number of unwanted animals born in our community.
  • Purchasing medical equipment and supplies to enhance animal health and well-being.
  • Providing the Dreams Come true program to provide additional medical care to seriously ill or injured animals.
  • Providing the Grooming Gives Hope program to make matted dogs healthier and more adoptable. Check out some of the incredible results by clicking here.
  • Providing the Noah’s Legacy program to subsidize the Department’s emergency response and programs to rescue animals in danger from natural or man-made disasters, and provide temporary care for the animals until they can be reunited with their families.
