Since 1998, Pauline East has served as Director of the Antelope Valley Film Office (AVFO), a full service film office in North Los Angeles County offering a range of services to the film production industry. The AVFO facilitates over 300 film projects annually, generating an average estimated economic impact of over ten million dollars to the North Los Angeles County region.
Pauline currently serves as Co-chair for the California on Location Awards, an annual Hollywood event honoring location professionals and production companies. She is a member of the Film Liaisons in California, Statewide. Other civic activities include participation in the AV Illegal Dump Task Force Committee.
A long-time resident of the Antelope Valley, Pauline, developed her passion for animals while growing up on her family’s alfalfa ranches. For the last three years, she has been involved with improvements at the Lancaster Animal Care Center as a volunteer and is dedicated to lowering the overpopulation of dogs and cats through humane education and spay/neuter awareness.
Other interests include outdoor sports, gardening, and travelling anywhere as long as her dogs are allowed. Pauline’s dogs, Buddy and Gracie, were both adopted in 2001 from the Lancaster Animal Care Center, to which she also serves as the Foundation liaison.
