The Son of Greek and Armenian immigrants, Phillip Gharabegian’s family fled the aftermath of the Iranian revolution and settled in Los Angeles. Following his years at Glendale High School, Phillip attended California State University Northridge and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance.
Eager to launch his legal career, Phillip attended Loyola Law School in Los Angeles and received his J.D. in 1999. Phillip joined Troop Steuber Pasich Reddick & Tobey, LLP (which later merged with Akin Gump), a top entertainment law firm based in Los Angeles and thereafter moved to the firm of Hogan & Hartson. After three years in private practice, Phillip joined the business and legal affairs team at Fox Cable Networks where he currently serves as Vice President.
In 2008, Phillip co-founded a non-profit animal welfare organization, Animal Advocates Alliance, along with three other attorneys with the intention of utilizing their collective legal skills for the care and betterment of animals. Phillip volunteers at animal care centers in Los Angeles County.
In 2010, Phillip accepted the position of treasurer for the Foundation, and also serves as the Foundation liaison to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center.
