Dr. Bijula Yusin joined the Animal Care Foundation board in 2021. A shelter veterinarian at heart, Dr. Yusin has worked closely with animal rescue groups for several years. Her passions include reducing pet overpopulation and preventing animal cruelty and neglect.
Dr. Yusin has over thirteen years of experience in shelter medicine, most recently working at the Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care and Control as a staff veterinarian. She is currently working on her master’s degree in veterinary forensics through the University of Florida while working in private practice. Dr. Yusin is excited to join the Animal Care Foundation as an advisor and looks forward to helping the community.
Dr. Yusin shares her home with her husband, three children, two cats, and a dog.
