Brittany McCann is currently a Project Management Professional (PMP) Manager on the Program & Portfolio Management (PPM) team within Technology Media Telecommunications (TMT) Digital Technology and Innovation (DTI) practice at PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC). Her family unit includes her husband, Paul, who is a mechanical engineer focused on drift car racing, her eldest fur-baby is Oakley, aka Oke, a 24yr old Dutch Warmblood mare, followed by Malachi, an 8yr old half-Siamese rescue, and the newest rescue is Rhiannon, aka Bad Girl RiRi, an adorable tabby kitten who loves to go hiking with Brittany.

Brittany was super lucky to be born into an animal loving family and has always been surrounded by animals. Her family had several cats, dogs, and horses (with a few random animals like a chicken, bird, fish, rabbit, and chameleon) throughout her life and has often been defined as a huge animal lover, a crazy cat lady, a horse girl, and a marine animal fanatic. She started competing in hunter-jumpers at the age of four, with her first pony So Clever, aka Lizzie, eventually moving up to her first horse Toy Soldier, aka Toy, and then Oke in high school. Growing up with horses, she became a dedicated equestrian, cleaning, feeding, training, and competing with her horses. While attending La Reina High School, she was Co-Varsity Captain her senior year as well as competing in medal finals like USET. Brittany graduated from the University of Maryland (UMD) with a B.S. in Accounting and International Business in 2010. At UMD, Brittany was President of the Equestrian Team her junior year and an active ally member of the Black Business Association (BBA).

At PwC, one of her proudest accomplishments is being the Program Manager of the TMT DTI Women to Women network. This grassroots organization, formed in 2018, provides a forum that enables women in DTI Consulting to achieve their leadership potential, continue to build upon their experience, and develop a long and meaningful career in technology. She previously led the Women to Women Connectivity initiative, which creates opportunities to connect with our people to celebrate, discuss, and encourage the continued progression of Women in Technology. A key program rolled out under her leadership was partnering with nonprofits or school programs that focused on conducting STEM workshops with underprivileged female high schoolers.

Brittany is excited to join the LACACF Board of Directors in 2021! During these crazy and unprecedented times, she has often found herself wanting to give more, help our community thrive, find a purpose beyond her daily work routine, and, honestly, continue to live a life she is proud of. Now she can finally say she has found something that not only fits her core values, as a person, but also helps those (the animals, of course!) unable to advocate for themselves to have a better life. She is looking forward to utilizing her professional experience to fuel her personal passions and support LACACF’s mission.
